**Program Information:
Compost Hubs**
The Compost Hubs Program provides 50-100 households per location with a membership
that allows them to drop off kitchen organics waste and utilize finished compost at their
designated site location. Compost Hub members are encouraged to
volunteer two hours per month to maintain their community composting infrastructure,
or pay a small donation if volunteer hours cannot be fulfilled. Locations include businesses,
churches, community gardens, parks, and open spaces.
Estimated Metrics per Site:

- 500-1000 lbs of compost amendment provided to communities annually
- 0.55 metric tons/month of avoided CO2E emissions per location annually
